अब हाथी से उतर साइकिल पर सवार होंगे पूर्व सांसद

अंबेडकरनगर। विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले समाजवादी पार्टी को जिले में एक और बड़ी सफलता मिलने वाली है।पूर्व सांसद राकेश पांडेय ने बसपा छोड़ कर सपा में शामिल होने का फैसला किया है। उन्होंने रविवार को लखनऊ में सपा सुप्रीमो अखिलेश यादव से मुलाकात के बाद यह जानकारी दी। उनके पुत्र रितेश पांडेय अंबेडकरनगर से बसपा के मौजूदा सांसद हैं। माना जा रहा है कि राकेश पांडेय को समाजवादी पार्टी जलालपुर से अपना प्रत्याशी बनाएगी। रविवार को यह खबर सोशल मीडिया पर बड़ी चर्चा का विषय है।

विधानसभा चुनाव होने से ठीक पहले जिले में सपा के लिए एक और बड़ी खुशखबरी सामने आई है। बीते विधानसभा चुनाव के बाद जिले के वरिष्ठ नेता व आलापुर से विधायक रहे पूर्व सांसद त्रिभुवनदत्त ने सबसे पहले सपा का दामन थाम लिया था। बीते दिनों दो पूर्व मंत्रियों रामअचल राजभर व लालजी वर्मा ने भी बसपा से निष्कासित होने के बाद तमाम अटकलों के बीच समाजवादी पार्टी में शामिल होना तय किया। यह दोनों कटेहरी व अकबरपुर से विधायक भी हैं। इस बीच अब समाजवादी पार्टी में जिले के एक और कद्दावर नेता ने शामिल होने का फैसला किया है।

जलालपुर से सपा के टिकट पर विधायक चुने जा चुके राकेश पांडेय ने अब फिर से सपा में शामिल होने का निर्णय लिया है। उन्होंने बाद में बसपा ज्वाइन कर ली थी। परिसीमन के बाद सामान्य हुई लोकसभा सीट पर वे 2009 में बसपा के टिकट पर सांसद चुने गए। तबसे वे बसपा में ही बने हुए थे। उनके पुत्र रितेश पांडेय जलालपुर की रिक्त हुई विधानसभा सीट से बसपा के टिकट पर विधायक चुने गए थे, लेकिन 2019 में इस्तीफा देकर उन्होंने बसपा के टिकट पर लोकसभा का चुनाव लड़ा। उन्होंने प्रदेश के सहकारिता मंत्री मुकुट बिहारी वर्मा को पराजित कर चुनाव जीतने में सफलता हासिल की। बसपा ने उन्हें लोकसभा में पार्टी का नेता भी बनाया।

इस बीच अब सपा में शामिल होने का निर्णय करते हुए रविवार को पूर्व सांसद राकेश पांडेय सपा सुप्रीमो व पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव से मिलने अपने बड़े पुत्र आशीष पांडेय उर्फ सुड्डू के साथ लखनऊ पहुंच गए। वहां पिता-पुत्र ने काफी देर तक अखिलेश यादव से मुलाकात की। पार्टी में शामिल होने की तिथि समेत अंबेडकरनगर व आसपास के जनपदों की रणनीति पर चर्चा हुई। मुलाकात के बाद आशीष ने बताया कि सपा में शामिल होना तय हुआ है। प्रदेश के विकास को मजबूत करने तथा नफरत के दौर को बंद करने के लिए यह जरूरी हो गया है कि सभी लोग मिलकर सपा का साथ दें। पूर्व सांसद राकेश ने कहा कि मौजूदा सरकार में बैठे लोगों को यह समझना चाहिए कि लोकतंत्र में जनता किसी को भी मनमानी करने की छूट नहीं देती है। प्रदेश की जनता आज सपा के नेतृत्व में तेजी से एकजुट हो रही है।

Former MP Rakesh Pandey has decided to leave the BSP and join the SP.  He gave this information after meeting SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow on Sunday.  His son Ritesh Pandey is the sitting BSP MP from Ambedkarnagar.  It is believed that Samajwadi Party will make Rakesh Pandey its candidate from Jalalpur.  On Sunday, this news is the subject of great discussion on social media.

 Just before the assembly elections, another big news has come out for the SP in the district.  After the last assembly elections, Tribhuvandutt, a senior leader of the district and an MLA from Alapur, was the first to join the SP.  In the past, two former ministers Ram Achal Rajbhar and Lalji Verma also decided to join the Samajwadi Party amidst all the speculations after being expelled from the BSP.  Both of them are also MLAs from Katehri and Akbarpur.  Meanwhile, now another strong leader of the district has decided to join the Samajwadi Party.

 Rakesh Pandey, who was elected MLA from Jalalpur on SP ticket, has now decided to join SP again.  He later joined BSP.  In 2009, he was elected MP on a BSP ticket on the Lok Sabha seat that became normal after delimitation.  Since then he remained in BSP.  His son Ritesh Pandey was elected MLA on a BSP ticket from the vacant assembly seat of Jalalpur, but resigned in 2019 and contested the Lok Sabha elections on a BSP ticket.  He succeeded in winning the election by defeating the state's cooperative minister Mukut Bihari Verma.  The BSP also made him the leader of the party in the Lok Sabha.

 Meanwhile, deciding to join the SP, on Sunday, former MP Rakesh Pandey reached Lucknow along with his elder son Ashish Pandey alias Suddu to meet SP supremo and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.  There the father and son met Akhilesh Yadav for a long time.  The strategy of Ambedkar Nagar and surrounding districts including the date of joining the party was discussed.  After the meeting, Ashish told that it has been decided to join the SP.  To strengthen the development of the state and to end the era of hatred, it has become necessary that all the people together support the SP.  Former MP Rakesh said that the people sitting in the present government should understand that in a democracy, the public does not give freedom to anyone to do anything arbitrarily.  Today the people of the state are uniting rapidly under the leadership of SP.
